2.6.3.3 Analog Input Function Calls
int rn_anaInConfig(int handle, int channel,
int opmode, int gaincode, int reserved);
Configures each analog input channel to the desired operation at the desired gain. Once all channels have
been set to single-ended voltages or differential voltages, use rn_anaIn() , rn_anaInVolts() ,
or rn_anaInDiff() to read an A/D converter channel.
PARAMETERS
handle is an address index to device information. Use rn_device() or rn_find() to estab-
lish the handle.
channel is the channel number (0 to3).

opmode is the mode of operation for the specified channel:
ADCENABLE —enables conversions
ADCDISABLE —disables conversions
gaincode is the gain code. Use 0 for the Digital I/O Card.
reserved is reserved for future use. Set to 0.
RETURN VALUE
The status byte from the previous command. -1 means that device information indicates the Digital I/O
Card is not connected to the master.
